Ibero4jobs promotes the creation of business challenges in Manizales

The Manizales Chamber of Commerce for Caldas and the Autonomous University of Manizales (UAM) have taken a significant step in strengthening employability in the region through the Ibero4jobs project.

Recently, the workshop “How to create business challenges” was held at the NeuroCity Creativity and Innovation Laboratory facilities, with the active participation of entrepreneurs, UAM research professors and staff from the Chamber of Commerce.

The workshop marked the beginning of concrete actions for the UAM Dual Skills program, an initiative that will transform six business problems into strategic challenges for upcoming bootcamps. This pilot program, led by Juliette Agamez Triana, coordinator of the Center for Virtual Studies and Educational Innovation – Heuristics at the UAM, seeks to integrate the business, union and academic sectors to improve both hard and soft skills of students, preparing them for the challenges of today's labor market.

“The goal is to connect the needs of entrepreneurs with the training capabilities offered by the university, so that students can develop soft and technical skills directly aligned with market demands,” explained Agamez Triana.
